A great day for codes!

11 Jan

That is to say, for the code id by doze, and the code in my computer as well.

Just completed the 1st ‘Manipulation Exercise’ (which sounds a great deal more obscene than it actually is) from the Selenium course at Udemy, and I feel like I’ve run a freekin’ marathon!

Of course the instructor thought it should take half an hour to an hour, but he’s biased by the fact that he KNOWS WHAT THE HELL HE IS DOING!

; )

Really though, I had fun and learned (more importantly PRACTICED) a ton of Java, Selenium and CSS all in one fell swoop. Also getting a LOT more comfortable with the IntelliJ IDE and IDE’s in general. I’m beginning to rather like them!

You can admire the voluminous Java output here.

Next stop is a lecture where the instructor shows how he did it. No doubt some sturdy thwaks with the clue stick are forthcoming, but in the meantime…MY PROJECT WORKS AS PLANNED!

Happy to hear that the exercises are challenging enough for you.

But more importantly, that you get through them by conducting additional research on line, thinking it through, and creating your own experiments.

Thanks for the contributions you’ve made to the course through your questions and blog posts.
